Loads the full instructions of one of the conversation's selected skills, at the moment the model decides the task calls for it.

With Load skills on demand set to On demand (Conversation settings → Skills), the system prompt lists each selected skill's name and description, and the body reaches the model only through this tool. Set to In the prompt, every selected skill's body goes into the system prompt and this tool is not offered. See Skills.

Good to know

• A SKILL.md over 256 KiB, or not in UTF-8, cannot be loaded, and the conversation's runs fail while that skill is selected.
• If two selected skills have folders with the same name, runs fail until you rename one folder or deselect one skill.
• A skill you select after the conversation has started is delivered in a box row at that point.
• A selected skill serves the whole conversation, whichever workspace declared it. When the conversation has more than one workspace, or its only workspace is on another machine, the model is told a workspace skill's folder as <path> in workspace N and a global skill's as on this computer, so it runs the skill's scripts with the right workspace's tools.
