tool.create_project_memory.description
Saves a new document to the project memory and adds its one-line description to the memory index.
The model uses it for facts that hold only in one workspace. The document goes to .mework/memory/ in that workspace's folder, and its description becomes a line in that folder's MEMORY.md, which is in context on every run while Enable project memory is on. Writing project memory never asks. See Memory and instructions.
Limits
- A write that would grow
MEMORY.mdpast 64 KiB fails.
Good to know
- Mework maintains
MEMORY.md: each write rebuilds it from its index lines and drops anything else. Put standing instructions in the workspace's.mework/MEWORK.mdinstead. - To make the model forget something, delete its file in
.mework/memory/. From the next run the model no longer sees it in the index. - In a conversation with more than one workspace, the tool takes an optional
workspacenumber saying whose memory to write to (default 1). With one workspace it has no such parameter.
